ASTHO, in partnership with the Public Health Foundation (PHF), is hosting a webinar showcasing best practices for establishing and enhancing performance management systems within public health departments.

Featuring insights from two jurisdictions, one local and one state, as they navigate designing and implementing a performance management system in their public health agencies.

Attendees will gain valuable lessons from these real-world experiences, which will highlight practical strategies for building a robust performance management system that drives measurable improvements in public health outcomes.

Participants will:

  • Gain insights into best practices for designing an effective performance management system, including conducting culture assessments and creating actionable plans to implement PM/QI priorities and goals.
  • Learn strategies and key questions to ask teams and programs to develop meaningful and impactful performance measures.
  • Hear directly from two Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) recipients about their experiences, successes, challenges, and valuable lessons learned in establishing a robust performance management framework and system within their organizations.
