Virtual
Monday, June 26, 2023
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Eastern Standard Time
Join us for an introduction and live demonstration of the Suicide Prevention Indicator Explorer tool and its features and capabilities! ASTHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) developed the Explorer to assist health agencies in identifying measures for their suicide prevention programs. It’s an interactive, visual tool that includes more than 470 measures from 27 data sources. Users can search and filter measures and sources by many considerations, such as relevant strategies, risk and protective factors, and geographic level (e.g., State, Territory/freely associated state, County, City, etc.).
During this webinar, participants will learn:
- How the Explorer was developed and what it contains.
- How the Explorer can be used to identify data to demonstrate suicide burden, recognize data-driven prevention strategies, and more.
