STRETCH (Strategies to Repair Equity and Transform Community Health) is happy to announce its second national convening. Co-developed and hosted by the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), the CDC Foundation, and the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) as partners in STRETCH, this 90-minute virtual convening will include a case study presentation on bi-directional communication through a health equity lens and its implications to public health practice with practical examples. From this session, participants will have a greater understanding of a health equity lens and how public health practitioners can apply it to key messages, advocates, policies, and practices.
Join us on Wednesday, June 5th, from 4:00-5:30 pm EDT. This event is free and open to those who are looking to add to their communications toolkit and gain a network of health equity practitioners, furthering the conversation on bi-directional communication through a health equity lens.
Want to connect to health equity practitioners before and/or after this event? Consider joining the STRETCH Network of Health Equity Practitioners online community! A my.ASTHO account is required, if you need assistance in creating one or joining the community please contact pheis@astho.org.
