Join ASTHO and ASTHO consultant Eric Cote for an interactive session introducing the new toolkit on promising approaches to enhance power outage support for life support users. This virtual offering will brief attendees about the significant increase in power outages and their impact on in-home life support users, explain current barriers for life support users when navigating and surviving power outages, and introduce the Louisiana Department of Health’s (LDH) Power Outage Partners pilot and the range of other approaches jurisdictions can employ to increase power outage support for life support users.
Eric Cote will facilitate this event with his extensive experience creating national initiatives to tackle disaster safety and public health preparedness challenges.
