Join the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the Public Health Foundation (PHF) for an introduction to academic health department (AHD) partnerships and explore a successful partnership involving a minority-serving institution. Hear from Kimberly Giardina, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, Amy Bonomi, Dean, College of Health and Human Services at San Diego State University, and Nicole Magnuson, Director of the Live Well Center for Innovation & Leadership, a partnership between the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency and San Diego State University, about how they formalized their partnership and how they are working collaboratively to advance education, workforce, and health improvement.
