County Health Councils have been active in most of Tennessee’s 95 counties for over 20 years. These County Health Councils are essential to uplift community voice and ensure the knowledge, experiences, and stories of local collaborators are leveraged to drive community change. This session will describe a statewide initiative by the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) to implement a locally-led Community Health Improvement Process by providing resources and support to the County Health Councils.
