Lessons Learned from Guam Preparedness and Disability Integration

ASTHO and The University of Guam Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (Guam CEDDERS) will provide a webinar on preparedness, health equity, and disability inclusion. This virtual offering will highlight key lessons learned, successes, and takeaways gathered from the 2023 stakeholder meeting of the Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services, the University of Guam CEDDARS, the government of Guam, and the disability community.
Michelle Aguigui and Reuel Drilon of Guam CEDDERS will facilitate this event with their extensive experience related to the inclusion of people with disabilities during disasters and health equity for underserved and marginalized populations.
Guam CEDDERS is a dynamic organization that aims to build bridges with partners to create stronger linkages, programs, services and supports to positively impact the quality of life of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss. This webinar will be conducted in English with ASL interpretation and captioning. Other accommodations are available upon request.
